About

Rachel grew up in Hertfordshire, but spent a lot of time in Essex and North London as members of her family are scattered there. She moved to Norfolk in 2020 for her BA in Drama at the University of East Anglia and achieved a 2:1. Then she returned for a Masters in Scriptwriting in 2024. Rachel absolutely fell in love with Norfolk and made it her home.

She has a large close knit family, who have always supported her creative ambitions. She has been performing at school since she was seven years old and had the lead part of Elfis in a Christmas play. She adored musical theatre and attended various extra drama groups throughout her teen years,

She has been an out bisexual for many years, and loves telling queer stories. Especially stories about polyamoury, a currently under-explored community.

She likes to make work that's fun and brings joy to her audiences, but she does also explore themes of grief, isolation, and mental health difficulties as well.

Rachel is a young creative and is looking forward to a bright future.
